Create an account

A user account is required to access the Virtual Care Platform (PSV) Patient Access Portal. This page shows you how to create an account.

To access the platform, you need an invitation from your healthcare professional. 

How to create an account

    Choose your situation:

    You have been invited by your healthcare professional

    1. Find your invitation code

    Your healthcare professional will have given you a six-digit invitation code. This code is in the format “A-123456.” Normally, this code is given to you in person (during an appointment) or sent to your mobile phone in a text message.

    Your invitation code is valid for 5 days. If you need a new one, contact your clinic.

    2. Click the link in your invitation email

    You will have received an invitation email from notifications@soinsvirtuels.gouv.qc.ca

    Open this email. Then, click the “Create your account” link.

    This link is valid for 5 days. After 5 days, you will need to contact your clinic to request a new invitation link.

    3. Start creating your account

    You are now on the Patient Access Portal website. You will see a summary of the steps you will follow to create your account.

    Click “Begin.”

    Carefully read the terms of use, then click on the box beside “I accept…” to confirm that you accept them. Then, click “Continue.”

    4. Confirm your identity with the invitation code

    Enter the six-digit invitation code you have received, then click “Continue.”

    Reminder: you will have received your invitation code in person (during an appointment) or in a text message sent to your mobile phone. If you can’t find your invitation code, contact your clinic.

    5. Verify your personal information

    At this step, you will see your personal information as it was entered into the system by your clinic. Verify it carefully. If there are any errors, contact your clinic before continuing.

    If your information is correct, click on the box beside “I confirm that the above information is valid.” Then, click “Continue the creation of your account.”

    6. Choose your password

    In the “New password” field, enter your desired password. Your password needs to meet the requirements indicated in green. Enter your password again in the “Confirm your password” field.

    Click “Confirm.”

    Congratulations! Your account has been created.

    7. Log into your account

    Enter your email address and password, then click “Log in.” You will be asked for a 6-digit verification code. This code can be found in an email that was automatically sent to you when you logged in. It is valid for 15 minutes.

    To log in in the future, go to https://accespatient.soinsvirtuels.gouv.qc.caalt=.

    For security reasons, you will be asked to enter a verification code each time you log in.

    You have not received an invitation

    The Patient Access Portal is only accessible by invitation from a healthcare professional. If your healthcare professional has told you to expect an invitation but you have not yet received one, please contact your clinic.
