Technical support for patients

Support for provincial telehealth activities is provided by the Centre de soutien des services numériques en santé (CSSNS).

Services offered to patients

The CSSNS offers technical support and accompaniment to patients for the following services:

  • Guidance and technological support for patient users of the Telehomecare Monitoring Platform.
  • Technical support for patients having a scheduled teleconsultation with a healthcare professional using Microsoft Teams.

You cannot book a teleconsultation appointment on this site. If you are interested in this service, please speak to your healthcare professional.

Teleconsultation

You have a virtual meeting scheduled with a healthcare professional using Microsoft Teams ? Before contacting the Support Center, there are resources that can help you in your preparation:

  1. Consult the Participate in a teleconsultation as a patient for all the preparatory steps for a virtual meeting.
  2. Test your internet connection speed, microphone and camera quality with the following module :
  1. If you encounter problems or the test results of your technological equipment indicate one or more failures, contact the Support Center for assistance.

Note that no advice or medical appointments can be given to you. To obtain medical advice, consult a doctor or contact the Info-Santé 811 line.

By telephone

  • Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • 1 833 564-0404 (toll free in Quebec)

By email

In your email, be sure to specify:

  • Your name and contact details to reach you;
  • The platform or service for which you need support;
  • Your user status (patient or caregiver);
  • The name of your healthcare professional, the date and time of your appointment;
  • The reason for your request.
