Technical support for patients
Support for provincial telehealth activities is provided by the Centre de soutien des services numériques en santé (CSSNS).
Services offered to patients
The CSSNS offers technical support and accompaniment to patients in the following situations:
- Patients who use the Telehomecare Monitoring Platform.
- Patients invited to a teleconsultation with a healthcare professional using the Microsoft Teams application.
You cannot book a teleconsultation appointment on this site. If you are interested in this service, please speak to your healthcare professional.
Teleconsultation
You have a virtual meeting scheduled with a healthcare professional using Microsoft Teams? Before contacting the Support Centre, there are resources that can help you in your preparation:
- Visit the Participate in a teleconsultation as a patient page for all the preparatory steps for a teleconsultation.
- Test your internet connection speed, microphone and camera quality with the following module :
- If you are using a mobile device, download the Microsoft Teams app. This video shows you how: Download Teams on smartphone or tablet (1 min 53 s). This clip is offered in French with English subtitles.
- If you encounter problems or the test results indicate one or more failures, contact the CSSNS for assistance.

There are two ways to contact the CSSNS:
